Egyptian Revival Floral Beaded Purse Celluloid Frame & Handle

We are pleased to offer this fabulous vintage floral beaded purse with a celluloid Egyptian Revival handle. Our purse measures 17" total length by 6" wide; the handle drop is 8" and the body (including fringe) is 9".

The purse will need a new lining and the back needs re-sewn to the frame; there is an area on the front that also needs re-sewn. It has an attached mirror compact that fold like a billfold. The mirror is cloudy. The frame has a slight bit of gap on each side, shown in photos. We see some loose threads that will need to be addressed.

The colors are vibrant and lovely. There are two flowers on each side with a Fleur-di-lis design in the middle. The chain is in excellent condition. We feel this is a French purse but have found no markings. The frame has a lever clasp with an Egyptian Revival man and woman.
