At any rate, the pendant is marked with the Haskell cartouche on the back, and the distinctive clasp, which began being used in 1975, is also marked "Miriam Haskell". It did not have the hang-tag sometimes present on Haskell pieces of this era.
The pendant is an ivory-colored affair of molded resin, with Pharaoh facing right in profile. This is set into a gold-tone frame which leaves the back open. The mesh chain has some wear and appears to have been crimped in places; there are no great gaping gashes however, and the clasp and connectors are in good condition.
We find no damage to the resin piece; the cartouche on the back has slight plate wear, as do the sides of the clasp. The entire necklace measures 18" from the bottom of the pendant to the top of the chains. The pendant measures 2 3/4" by 2 1/4".
