We are very pleased to bring you this frosted teal green Chanticleer tumbler by Duncan & Miller. Made in the 1920s and 1930s, it has roosters in high relief on the outside of the glass. This one is in excellent condition and measures 3 1/2" tall by 3 1/8" across the mouth.
We are not exaggerating when we say this piece is as if museum-kept.
This item, as well as the other Chanticleer pieces we will be listing,
came from the home of an avid Duncan & Miller collector; he was also
a collector of many other companies, and we will be listing the
treasures we found there soon.
The Chanticleer pattern dates to
the 1920s and 1930s. Our photos don't do justice to the high relief and
beauty of the mold strike. Suffice it to say, once you see a piece of
Chanticleer in hand, you will never forgot what it looks like.
