Salt Marsh Potteries Strawberry Bowl 7 1/2" Vintage

Presenting a beautiful hand-made clay bowl from the Salt Marsh Pottery of Dartmouth, MA. Using "impact sculpture", the pieces are made by pressing the clay on a river rock with the flower on it, then drying, hand-painting and firing the clay. This bowl is the Strawberry bowl measuring 7 1/2" across the widest point.

Our bowl has a chip at about 10 o'clock, measuring 1/2" by 1/8" and we find no other damage.

We contacted the potters, who are still making these beautiful items, and were told this is a bowl from the late 1980s.
